Tips to Play and Master Battlefield 6

Core Gameplay & Teamplay

  1. Play the Objective (PTFO): Kills and K/D ratio don’t win matches—capturing and defending objectives do. In Conquest, the team holding more flags drains the enemy’s reinforcement tickets faster. Focus on getting into the capture zones.

  2. Stick With Your Squad: You are not Rambo. Move with your four-person squad. You can spawn on squadmates and benefit from coordinated fire. A coordinated squad will always beat a lone player.

  3. Spot Every Enemy: Use the Spot button (Q on PC, L1/LB on console) as a reflex. This highlights the enemy with a red icon, giving crucial intelligence to your entire team and earning you assist points.

  4. Know When to Change Class: Don’t wait for others. If enemy armor is destroying your team, switch to Engineer. If your team is bleeding tickets, switch to Support. Be flexible based on what the objective needs.

Mastering the Revive System

  1. Revive, Revive, Revive (Any Class Can!): Since any class can revive a squadmate, do it! A successful revive saves your team a reinforcement ticket, which is the key to winning.

  2. Use the Drag Mechanic: If a squadmate is downed in the open, approach them and Hold the revive button to drag them to safety behind cover before completing the revive. This new feature is essential for survival.

  3. Support Class is the Lifeline: If you choose the Support class, you are the ultimate medic:

    • You can revive any teammate (not just squadmates).

    • Your Defibrillator gadget allows for much faster revives.

    • Always drop a Supply Bag/Pouch after reviving an ally, as they come back with half health.

Class and Vehicle Tips

  1. Prioritize the Engineer: If you’re new or struggling, the Engineer is arguably the most valuable class. Your primary job is to deal with enemy vehicles using the RPG and Anti-Tank Mines. Don’t wait for someone else to step up—you take out the tank!

  2. Use Support Gadgets Defensively: The Support class can equip gadgets like Deployable Cover or the MP-APS (Missile/Projectile Intercept System), which are game-changers for holding an objective against tanks or infantry pushes.

  3. Use Vehicles as Mobile Cover: Don’t just drive your tank to the objective and leave it. Use your vehicle as a mobile shield for your infantry squadmates to push the point. It also serves as a squad spawn point.

  4. Repair at Base: If you pilot an aircraft or drive a tank and take heavy damage, drive/fly it back to the home base on the map. Most home bases have an area that will automatically repair and restock your ammo instantly.

The most important tip is to play your role—whether you’re an Engineer hunting tanks or a Support player keeping bodies on the objective—and the score and unlocks will follow naturally.
